Stormwater Participation

The Stormwater Management program relys on the help from community. According to the Environmental Protection Agency ,the hardest challenge for Stormwater Management Municipal programs nation wide, is public participation. It takes alot work and effort to positively affect change in a community. A large portion of the non-point source pollution entering our waterways, and streams can be reducing if everyone in the community does their share.

Over the course of the year the SW program conducts several education & outreach activities within the community. These activities could have potentially greater efffects if more residents in the community become involved.
